Our Story

Nelson Haus is a 400-year-old townhouse in Cospicua, lovingly restored to honor Malta’s heritage. Legend says Admiral Horatio Nelson once found refuge here — a story that lives on in its limestone walls and timeless charm. Today, it welcomes guests to experience history, design and maltese warmth in perfect harmony.

Our vision is to share Malta in its most authentic form — calm, soulful, and beautifully unhurried. We strive to create a feeling of home, where history and design exist in perfect harmony. Through thoughtful details, local artistry, and genuine hospitality, Nelson Haus invites guests to experience the island not as tourists, but as friends discovering its quiet grace.

This apartment is a great place to stay. Its beautiful inside, very spacious and the host is fantastic. Location is in a quieter area just outside Valletta. There are a variety of restaurants nearby including breakfast cafes. DATE art cafe is a recommend. There is a boat service over to Valletta for € 3 and plenty of free parking nearby.

Nelsonhaus is a gorgeous place. I can't believe this comfortable house is 500 years old! It’s located on Nelson Street – a beautiful, narrow lane just minutes walk from where the ferrys depart directly for Valletta. ⛴️ My room had a private terrace, but even if you stay in another room, there's a stunning shared terrace which has very nice view to overlook the harbor at night. 🌃 The common areas also include a fully equipped kitchen. A huge thank you to host Linsey for her wonderful hospitality; she even invited me to share a meal from her home country! If I ever return to Malta, I’ll definitely stay here again. ❤️

Great location as the ferry is just above the street. Andrea was a very nice Host. Recommend this place as it is also a bit quieter than in Valletta.
